[NEWS]: Drei neue und bizarre Bücher

Drei Bizarro-Bücher also. Bizarro ist ein Schlagwort, das bei uns nie richtig funktioniert hat. Das wiederum ist bedauerlich, da etliche gute Autoren damit nie übersetzt werde und keine Chance haben, hier ein Publikum zu finden. Das Label Bizarro ist auch nicht wirklich glücklich. Im Endeffekt greift es zu wenig weit und es schreckt ab, da es nach Unsinn klingt. So müsste man z.B. Chuck Palahniuk als Bizarro bezeichnen, was natürlich Quatsch ist. Aber Carlton Mellick III wiederum ist ein bedeutend interessanterer Autor, als es die Bezeichung Bizarro vermuten lässt. Er ist clever und witzig. Irgendwie ein Gift-Begriff, dieses Bizarro. Schade.
