Nun also, ein Bizarro Science Fiction Roman mit einem Protagonisten, der ein Ballon ist. Und Bankräubern mit Robin-Hood-Tick. Und ja, hm, Carlton Mellick mal wieder. Soziale Spannungen, Ballon-Menschen und ein zurückliegender Atomkrieg und diverse Verrücktheiten und Fetische, wie sie dem Gehirn des Mannes entspringen, der die verrücktesten Bücher schreibt. Ein Haufen sadistischer Witze ist natürlich auch mit an Bord.

Mehr eine Novelle als ein Roman. Sehr kurzes Buch, sehr vergnüglich. Viel mehr gibt es dazu eigentlich nicht zu sagen. Das ist Carlton Mellick und ich mag ihn für seine verrückten Bücher, ganz egal, ob kurz oder lang. Der Umfang macht es bei ihm nämlich nicht aus. Es sind die Ideen. Und davon hat er reichlich zu bieten – so viele, es gibt schon wieder, ich glaube, 3 neue Titel von ihm. Bin bei Mellick hoffnungslos im Rückstand.
